About Me
Susan Lindsey Aneno is a multi-hyphenate creative—an aspiring actress and filmmaker—whose work draws inspiration from storytellers like Cecile Emeke, Michaela Coel, Issa Rae, and Sofia Coppola. With a deep love for both stage and screen, she brings an honest, culturally attuned perspective to every project she takes on.

In 2018, she performed in When They Go, a stage production directed by Suzann McLean at Stratford East—an early milestone in her artistic journey.

Susan earned a BA in Drama & Media Studies from the University of Kent in 2023. During her time there, she identified a gap in representation within the arts scene. She responded by founding UKCPOCAS, a creative arts society dedicated to uplifting and celebrating students of colour.

As President in 2021, she partnered with The Gulbenkian Theatre to launch the UKCPOCAS Live Recording Sessions, where she served as creative director, producer, and editor. This initiative highlighted her commitment to building inclusive spaces and championing collaborative creativity.

One of her standout projects was Hitched & Bitched, a self-produced mockumentary exploring the chaos of modern weddings through a comedic lens. Inspired by The Office (US) and Abbott Elementary, the film follows a young bride and her bridal party navigating pre-wedding pandemonium.

Now, Susan is excited to begin her professional journey in the film and television industry. She’s seeking opportunities as a production runner or assistant—ready to contribute, learn, and grow within dynamic and collaborative environments.
